Australian Tourists Shazza and Waz

Part of an ad campaign enticing Australian tourists in Thailand to sign up for a variety of day-tours such as elephant safari, nightclub show, and whitewater rafting.

All elements of this couple's dress and mannerisms were carefully dictated to me by the Australian owner of the daytour group, www.phukettravelandtours.com . The intent is to gently mock "typical" Australian tourists, thereby making an emotional connection with them.

Initially, this will only be part of a poster. If it's popular, it will be printed as a pair of life-size cutout figures to pose with, and there'll be a series of "Shazza and Waz" drawings shooing these Australians doing various day tour activities in Phuket.
