Please compare this version, which I sketched by hand but colored digitally,

Let me know, in your comments, whether you prefer the hand-colored or digitally-colored version.
This is important-- I'm questioning whether I should generally color digitally or by hand, in the future.
The setting for this tessellation is real. It's a McDonald's in Nanakuli, a town on the west side of O'ahu. I turned the McDonald's logo upside down to make the emoticon on the computer=driven cash register.
The tessellation is only a little bit new. It's mostly a repeat of the longnose butterfly fish tessellation I've done before, except that the fishes' faces now fit into "V" trailing section of the fishes' tails.
This is the first time in many years that I've inserted a little self portrait into my art, unless one counts hands and feet, which pop up frequently in my art.
