This piece is a political cartoon, a protest against all the @#()$&*#@ selfish, stupid, short-sighted advertising jerks who choose to ignore the damage they do to the environment, to the peace and quiet the public has a right to enjoy, and to the advertising company's reputation.
Speaker trucks, junk mail, spam, billboards placed illegally, posters slapped up illegally on public utility poles, sales calls to random phone numbers...all these SEEM to cost the advertiser very little, but they don't measure the real cost.
